Where would you go if you could visit anywhere in the world? What time in history would you like to see?
If I could pick a superpower, it would definitely be time travel or world travel. There are so many places I want to visit, and books give me a little bit of access to those superpowers.
You can travel the world through books.
Who doesn't want to visit Paris after reading Hunchback of Notre Dame or view the lush countryside of China after reading The Good Earth?
Books set in different countries and cultures can give you a variety of experiences, all from the comfort your own home, minus having to wait in line for TSA.
Here are four exciting destinations you can "travel" to and enjoy from Night Nook Books.
1. Ever been to Wales? Here is a pull-at-your-heart strings book of a mother and daughter relationship set amongst beautiful castles and scenery in Cut Scenes and Impossible Things a Young Adult contemporary novel by Tracy Daley.
2. Make sure to pack your bagpipes while you visit Scotland in this whimsical historical romance set in the deep Highlands during the regency period. Follow along as the soon-to-be-duke finds himself a soon-to-be-bride in The Secret Heir of Lachsford by Brooke D. Winmill.
3. Could you survive in the smeltery jungles of Indonesia? What if it was the only way to save your sister? Travel to this beautiful paradise in the Young Adult contemporary, The Wrong Side of the Setting Sun by Tracy Daley.

3. What about right here at home in the states? Here's to visiting not only different places but different time periods with Kiki and George as they time travel through United States history in the Middle Grade historical fiction-fantasy, The Timeless Adventures of Kiki and George: The Commander's Red Sash.
