Have you ever walked into a grocery store the day after Christmas? It's not something I recommend. If you have, you wouldn't be surprised that Christmas decorations have been taken down and the shelves are already prepped and stocked with Valentine’s Day cards and decor.
This year, I was tempted to move on to my next holiday shopping, but I stopped myself, grabbed my groceries, and made a better plan: read a book and take a much-deserved holiday nap. I had to remind myself that preparing for the next holiday is perfectly fine—as long as I have a good book and plenty of chocolate, which really should be a packaged deal.
That being said, aren't we all due for some R&R after the big holidays? If you need a few cozy romance recommendations, here are some of our favorites to cuddle up with.
