She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Brigham Young University–Hawaii and a master’s degree in teaching from Western Governors University. Her academic training and classroom experience inform her approach to storytelling, blending historical accuracy with emotional depth.

Tracy is also the host of the podcast History’s Unsung Heroes, where she explores lesser-known stories from the past. She lives with her family and continues to write, research, and speak on history, storytelling, and the writing process.
