Author Brooke Winmill

Brooke spent her childhood running wild in sunny Southern California, where she was more likely to be found climbing oak trees, swimming in lakes, or choreographing cringy pre-teen dance routines with friends than doing anything related to reading or writing. Her days were filled with strawberry fields, citrus orchards, and a healthy dose of mischief—definitely not the stuff of historical fiction.

Fast forward a few years (and a few kids later), and Brooke has found herself in love with both reading and writing, particularly historical fiction love stories. These days, she’s a proud mom of four lively kids and the lucky wife of an easy-on-the-eyes husband.

Now living in a small town in Cache Valley, Utah, Brooke spends her time writing and wrangling her young children.
